School Council Interest and Voting

Each year in 6th grade, our parents vote for their school council representative. This person will serve on our school council for the three years their student is in middle school. Within the school council we discuss school improvement efforts, listen to input from different groups, and work together to implement improvements and changes. This group meets online 4 times per year at 5PM. If you are interested in running for this school council position, please send an email to with a paragraph about why you would be a good parent to serve in this role. This paragraph will be shared with other 6th grade parents so they can determine who to vote for. Candidates and those who vote need to be listed as a parent or guardian of a 6th grade student at ECMS. Please send this interest email to Mrs. Bobo by August 16th. Voting will take place online after that time. Thanks!
